I think that it’s only right that the first piece I post here is for my mom. She has more of my pieces than anyone on this planet, including me. And I’m sure someone out there is saying, “Yeah, but that’s because she’s your mom. That’s how she’s supposed to be.” And you’re right. That’s how it’s supposed to be, but that’s not always how it is. So, just as we should appreciate a sunny day because it isn’t a storm, I want to thank my mom for choosing to be the mother she is, because there are a lot of other ways to mother. She loves the colors blue and yellow, and she loves supporting bees and nature. This past Christmas, I created a piece for her to commemorate her dedication to protecting the planet. Thank you, Mom.
